Heidi Klum was conceived in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, on June 1, 1973. Erna Klum was her mother. Gunther Klum worked as an executive for a cosmetics corporation. Heidi's father was previously a producer for 4711, a company that made perfume. She grew up in her birthplace in Bergisch Gladbach a city of around 100,000 people just six miles to the east of Cologne. German-American ex fashion model and TV host, now a businesswoman and designer.
